Delicious Avocado Smoothie Will Make Your Day

Smoothies are a great way to boost your body's nutrient intake. The avocado, kiwi and lime smoothie is a delicious combination of green fruits to boost immunity. Avocados are classified as a superfood as they are highly nutritious. It is a source of monounsaturated fats (which can lower blood cholesterol levels, reduce the risk of heart disease and benefit brain function), vitamin E (a powerful antioxidant) and vitamin B6 (needed for healthy skin, involved in amino acid and lipid metabolism, neurotransmitter and haemoglobin synthesis).

Ingredients:

- 1/2 fully ripe large avocado (peeled)
- 2 kiwis (peeled)
- 1/8 cup lime juice
- 1/8 - 1/4 cup almond or soy or coconut milk or pineapple juice (just enough for the blender to blend)
- honey to taste (1-2 tablespoons)
- 2-3 ice cubes                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        
Instructions:

First pour the liquid into the blender, then add the fruit and ice. Start blending on low speed and gradually increase until the smoothie is creamy and smooth.
